- Stand away from other players while they are taking their shots so as to not distract them.
- If you are going with your friends, do not start celebrating after every win. Keep calm and respect the other players.

- Do not ever walk on someone’s line. Here, ‘line’ basically refers to the distance between the ball and the hole that a player is likely to take a shot in-between. The point is that your footprint may cause an effect on the rolling of the golf ball.
- Do not talk when a friend or a fellow player is about to hit their shot. Remember the mantra, the quieter you are, the higher you will be promoted amongst your peers.
- Do not play unnecessarily slow and hold up other players behind you. Stop taking too many practice swings on the tee.
- Do not drag your golf cart on the green as it may damage the fairways or the grass.
- Don’t spend a lot of time looking for lost balls. 5 minutes is a good time limit to search for a lost ball.
- Don’t chat too much when you are on the tee or green. You will distract yourselves, your friends and other people on the course.
- Once you are done hitting your strike, move away and then mark your score card. Do not do this while you are still at the green. It is more annoying than you think.
